The Grant Specialist is involved with all aspects of pre-award and post award grant management. Assistance is provided to principal investigators with the preparation and submission of grant propoals, tracking of grant expenditures, and management of grant accounts.

The Office for Sponsored Programs (OSP) is the central point of coordination for sponsored projects and the University's authorized representative for grants, contracts and other agreements from government agencies, private industry, and non-profit foundations.

The Office of Research Compliance (ORC) oversees the administrative functions of the Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC), and the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC).  The Director of Research Compliance is also the designated individual to receive allegations of research misconduct.
