Biology Central Services

 

Biology Central Services (BCS) is a central administrative unit which supports the three academic biology departments:

In addition, Biology Central Services provides assistance to Biotechnology, the Museum of Natural History and, on occasion, Biology Regional Campus programs. 

The Head of Biology Central Services is Paul W. Betts. 

The responsibilities of, and the services provided by, the BCS organizational unit include the following: 

  1. Administrative Services

    2. - Accounting, Grant Management, Purchasing, Payroll, Travel, etc.

     

  2. Building Services

    3. - Facilities liason, building infrastructure, Academic Renovations (AR)

     

  3. Laboratory Services

    4. - Class lab coordination, research infrastructure

     

  4. Information Services

    5. - Scientific Illustrations; Computer Consultant
